PET grocery bags are starting to catch up
to the nonwoven polyporpylene
bags that are everywhere
these days. They like the nonwoven polyporpylene they are
cheap,
strong and totally reusable.
Unlike the nonwoven polyporpylene, PET is
made from recycled plastic like water bottles and yogurt
containers, not from plastic. This does make them a bit
more expensive than nonwovens
which cost about a third of their price. However these
bags are taking plastic out of the landfills a claim
poly bags can not make.
